SERVER RULES - please read |
|
|
|
|
Shadow Company Elite would like to thank everyone who joins our server to have a great SCE experience in Armed Assault. One thing that we know will keep people coming in to play is a healthy server so we have been taking initiatives to make that a priority for us. Some of those initiatives rely on us to work out any kinks(lag, crashing, etc), but others rest in the players hands. Therefore, we have set in place a set of rules that we would like all to follow when in our server: - Picking/Switching Teams: If you are caught switching teams during a session of WARFARE you will immediately be kicked (with an admin present) and most likely will be banned and be placed on a global ban list. We will not tolerate folks who join a side to find out where the HQ is then switch sides with that information.
- Friendly Fire: We understand Friendly Fire can be accidental, however, we are keeping a close eye on this matter and if this is abused you will immediately be kicked (with an admin present) and most likely will be banned and be placed on a global ban list.
- Game-play Structure: If you join our server and it is found that you are shooting aimlessly, blowing things up at random, or simply put, "not really playing", you will immediately be kicked (with an admin present), and could possibly be banned.
- Conduct: If you are abusive in any way, shape, or form, you will be asked to stop or leave. If you persist with your actions you will be kicked (with an admin present) and/or banned. Some smack-talk or joking around is fine, however, vulgar/extreme/offensive language will not be tolerated.
- Ping: We would like to see folks with average to above average be in our server. If it is found that your ping is very high and possibly bogging us down, you may be asked to leave. If you refuse and we strongly feel you are a possible source to server-lag, you may be kicked.
- Password protected server: At times we will password our server either for our members or to lock it down to keep good-fun players enjoying a great game without the possibility of an unwanted situation If you would like the password when we do this we would like to see you join SCE to be a part of the fun. If SCE is not for you then visit our forums and let us know how we can contact you to get the password to you when we lock it down.
We hope these set of rules make sense. If you have any questions feel free to ask at our ARMA Forums. |

SCE's ArmA Division - RECRUITING! |
|
In early 2007 ARMA was a recognized division that slowly diminished due to other online gaming preferences. With the Warfare Gamemode, recent enhancements, mods, addons, etc., SCE members are back. Coop, Warfare, and other aspects of the game are being explored by SCE members on a daily basis. We're gamers with families and recognize that gaming should be a fun experience. That's what SCE is all about. Please consider membership with us today. |

ArmA Warfare is a blend of a team-based multiplayer mission and realtime strategy included as a free update in the latest patch for ArmA Armed Assault / ArmA Combat Operations / ArmA Gold Edition. - Massive battles
Take on dozens of other players on an online battlefield with hundreds of units. - First person strategy
Build bases, perform missions, buy equipment and wipe the enemy off the map. - Reclaim South Sahrani
Discover a new layout of South Sahrani with far more strategic options. - Personalise your warfare
Be a grunt, lead a tank platoon, fly Close Air Support, or command the entire force. - New reinforcements
Build up your combat force with all new USMC infantry, base facilities and defenses.

Two sides fight for control of the entire 40 sq km map in titanic battles over air land and sea. Players must capture whole cities to gain resources that can be channelled into manufacturing even more weapons of war. Each side has one commander, who can build factories and defensive structures in and around their base. As long as they have enough money and resources, players can use these factories to build units, weapons and vehicles. Defensive structures can be used to defend bases and the units stationed there.
Players must take account of logistical considerations outside their bases and cities too as truck convoys ferrying supplies between settlements are vulnerable to attack. Players on each side are divided into a maximum of 16 teams. The commander can give these teams side missions and specify tasks or objectives, coordinating the entire side to ensure victory.
This is war on a unprecedented scale, even for ARMA!
ARMA Warfare mission is a part of the latest ARMA update. You can download it at the Updates page. There is also an official Warfare Manual awailable at the Media page as a pdf document. |
